My love of languages and an interest in how language is acquired, processed, and structured, combined with my passion for working with children, naturally led me to a career in the field of dyslexia. I find it incredibly rewarding to assess and identify both areas of literacy difficulty and individual strengths, enabling me to build a comprehensive profile of each learner. Understanding how a child processes language allows me to recommend targeted support that helps them develop confidence, make meaningful progress, and reach their full potential. Seeing the positive impact that accurate assessment and appropriate intervention can have on a child's educational journey gives me immense job satisfaction.

I hold an Assessment Practicing Certificate (APC) with PATOSS, allowing my reports to be used when applying for the Disabled Student's Allowance within the UK. I am an Associate Member of the British Dyslexia Association and a member of The Dyslexia Guild.

I have ten years teaching experience in secondary schools and seven years teaching within the primary sector.
